Roles & Responsibilities
Lead complex technology initiatives with broad organizational impact; participate in engineering standards and best-practice development; design, code, test, debug and document technology solutions; evaluate complex large-scale systems against business and enterprise objectives; make technical decisions and influence engineering teams; drive delivery of strategic technology initiatives; apply automated testing and regression-testing practices; work with BDD/Cucumber and headless-testing approaches; manage Gradle, GitHub, CI/CD and DevOps practices; use Docker, Kubernetes, Harness and GitHub Actions; develop and test React applications using Jest and React Testing Library; address frontend performance, accessibility, browser compatibility and secure coding; support production-grade deployments; troubleshoot technical issues; communicate with stakeholders; apply AI-assisted development tools under governed engineering practices; and contribute to technology modernization in financial-services environments.
Requirements & Qualifications
The position expects substantial software-engineering experience with strong UI/full-stack development capability. Relevant skills include React, JavaScript/TypeScript, database development and modern engineering practices. Experience with automated testing, BDD/Cucumber, Gradle, GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Harness and GitHub Actions is relevant. Candidates should understand React testing, performance optimization, accessibility, browser compatibility, secure coding, build tooling and production deployment. Analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills are required. Capital-markets or investment-banking knowledge is advantageous, as is familiarity with Linux/Unix scripting, Autosys and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
