About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Python backend components; design and implement application functionality; write clean, maintainable production code; create and maintain automated tests including JUnit-based validation where applicable; analyze data and application behavior; troubleshoot defects; participate in software lifecycle activities from requirements through deployment; collaborate with developers, testers and technical stakeholders; review code; document implementations; contribute to performance, reliability and maintainability improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent background in computer science, software engineering or a related technical discipline. Strong Python programming fundamentals, software-development lifecycle knowledge and practical data-handling capability are required. Experience with automated testing, JUnit or comparable frameworks, debugging, version control, API development and collaborative engineering practices is beneficial. Analytical problem solving, code quality awareness and clear technical communication are also expected.
