About the Role

Merkle Science is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for its Product Engineering frontend team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on building user-facing dashboards, investigation workflows and compliance tooling for blockchain intelligence and transaction-monitoring products.

Roles & Responsibilities

Build responsive and performant frontend components using ReactJS. Translate Figma or similar designs into clean, reusable components. Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs. Manage application state and optimize rendering performance. Write clean, maintainable and tested frontend code. Collaborate with product and engineering teams on user-facing features. Support dashboards and investigation workflows used by analysts and investigators. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. Troubleshoot frontend issues and improve application usability and performance. Maintain Git-based development workflows. Contribute to engineering documentation and development standards. Gain practical experience delivering production-oriented web functionality while working in a hybrid product-engineering environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

Eligibility is for final-year 2027 B.Tech, B.E. or Dual Degree students from IIT, NIT or IIIT in CSE, IT or closely related computer-science branches. Strong JavaScript, ES6+, HTML and CSS fundamentals are required. Candidates should have working knowledge of React, hooks, component lifecycle and state management, plus understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous operations, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Git familiarity and strong problem-solving fundamentals are expected. TypeScript, Redux/Zustand/React Query, visualization libraries, personal projects and prior internship experience are useful additions.
